Pashmina is a delicate natural fibre and should be handled with care to preserve its softness, beauty and longevity.- Dry clean only, using a trusted professional experienced in handling Pashmina and delicate textiles.
- Do not machine wash, soak, bleach or use harsh detergents.
- Never wring, twist or scrub the saree.
- After wearing, allow the saree to air naturally before folding it away.
- Avoid spraying perfume, deodorant or other fragrances directly onto the fabric.
- Keep the saree away from oils, makeup and other cosmetic products.
- Store folded in a clean, breathable muslin or cotton cloth. Avoid prolonged storage in plastic covers.
- Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
- Refold the saree from time to time to prevent permanent creasing along the same fold lines.
- Keep away from mothballs and strong chemical repellents.
- If pressing is required, use very low heat with a protective cloth between the iron and the saree. Professional gentle steaming is preferable.
- Take care while wearing jewellery, handbags or accessories that may catch or pull delicate fibres.
